Netherlands hosts a series of community music concerts in July

On Sunday 28 June, three young pianists – Menno Kunz, Elise Hadida and 18‑year‑old Charly Vink – performed a classical‑to‑neo‑classical program in the Pastorietuin of the Sint Martinus congregation in Hoogland, Netherlands. The recital featured works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Frédéric Chopin, Ludovico Einaudi and others, attracting up to 150 local listeners.

Later in July, Vaals will stage two free world‑music events. On 10 July, the 90‑member Ratchasima Witthayalai Marching Band from Thailand will perform on Koningin Juliana plein. On 27 July, the Dutch Youth Fanfares Orchestra (NJFO), a 65‑musician ensemble, will present a concert at the same venue. Both events are organized by the local municipality and aim to bring international and national musical talent to the town’s residents.
