Various autumn activities and events across the Netherlands and Belgium

Numerous regional events and seasonal activities are scheduled across the Netherlands and Belgium during the autumn period.

In the Netherlands, Arnhem is hosting the 17th edition of the Sprookjesfestival from October 17 to 25, featuring a fairy tale parade and various theatrical performances. The Salland region is hosting several events, including the Sallandse Wandelvierdaagse walking event and the Heksendoorn magic event at Avonturenpark Hellendoorn. Additionally, the first National Games Week will take place from October 26 to November 1, involving over 300 locations such as museums and libraries.

In Belgium, the municipality is offering various youth camps for the autumn holidays, including art and sports programs for toddlers and primary school children. Meanwhile, in Destelbergen, Huis onder de Notelaar is introducing new interior collections for the season.

In the nature sector, Staatsbosbeheer has postponed its decision regarding the future of several visitor centers, including Buitencentrum De Pelen, allowing them to remain open for the time being while the organization evaluates feedback regarding financial sustainability.
