Netherlands lineup and schedule revealed for 2026 World Cup

The Dutch national team will compete in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be staged across the United States, Mexico and Canada. The squad, valued at around US$975 billion by Transfermarkt, includes captain Virgil van Dijk of Liverpool, midfield orchestrator Frenkie de Jong, and other top players such as Micky van de Ven, Jurrien Timber, Ryan Gravenberch, Cody Gakpo, Tijjani Reijnders and Donyell Malen. Coach Ronald Koeman, who returned to the role in 2023, will lead the side.

The Netherlands have a historic record of three runner‑up finishes (1974, 1978, 2010) and have reached the knockout stage in every tournament since 1974, most recently advancing to the quarter‑finals in Qatar 2022. In the opening group stage of the 2026 edition they will face Japan on 14 June in Dallas, Sweden on 20 June in Houston and Tunisia on 25 June in Kansas City.
