Netherlands parish announces weekly services and Father's Day tent worship

The Wonderbare Moeder parish in the towns of Drunen, Elshout, Herpt, Hedikhuizen and Heusden will hold a series of daily liturgical events from June 20 to June 26, 2024. Services include weekday eucharists, a rosary, an hour of silence and prayer, a baptism and other devotional gatherings at St. Lambertus Church, St. Jan Evangelist and the local silence centre. The churches also serve as collection points for the food bank, accepting non‑perishable items during opening hours.

On June 21, 2024, the Hervormde Kerk of Oostwold will host a special tent service on the VVS Oostwold football field to mark Father's Day. The afternoon program, led by Rev. Albert Hoekman, will focus on the theme of fatherhood and God's love, featuring music, a live‑streamed service and a free communal meal. Attendees will receive a commemorative pen with a biblical quote, and voluntary donations will be accepted via a milk‑bucket collection or QR code.
