Netherlands readies Veldmaat Bruist and Bospop festivals for summer 2026

The town of Haaksbergen is preparing for the Veldmaat Bruist 2026 festival, scheduled for Friday 26 to Sunday 28 June. Organisers are erecting a large festival tent, setting up market stalls, a children’s playground, a beach‑volleyball area and arranging live music each evening. An old‑timer car meet will also take place on Sunday, and cooling measures such as shade and free sunscreen have been introduced to cope with anticipated high temperatures.

In Weert, work has begun on the Bospop music festival, set for Friday 10 to Sunday 12 July. The grass has been mowed, construction materials delivered, containers and portable toilets installed, and the layout marked with coloured stakes. Over the coming weeks tents, stages, hospitality points, technical equipment and backstage facilities will be built, while traffic and safety measures are being put in place to manage the expected tens of thousands of visitors.
