Netherlands senior arts workshops and Nepal trekking talk scheduled in August and July

On 24 August 2026 a free programme called “Tijd van je Leven” will launch with a meet‑and‑greet day at the Protestant Church (PKN) on Koning Julianaweg‑Zuid 1. The event is aimed at residents aged 65 and older and will showcase theatre, music and creative workshops. Attendees can learn about the ongoing free art and culture workshops that begin on 31 August, with personal guidance offered through partnerships with local organisations.

On 13 July 2026 the Herensoos group will host a gathering at Activiteitencentrum De Drie Lelies in Puttershoek. Speaker Ad Huisman will present his trekking experiences in Nepal, describing climbs of Manaslu and Makalu. He said, “In 2003 and 2005 had I the luck to join two trekking expeditions to the roof of the world…”. The informal meeting is open to the public and requires no prior registration.
