Netherlands to see brief summer warmth followed by temperature drop

The Netherlands is expected to experience a brief return of summer-like weather before temperatures drop significantly. On Monday, temperatures are forecast to reach between 23 and 28 degrees Celsius, with some southeastern regions potentially hitting 29 degrees.

Following this warm peak, weather conditions are set to change on Tuesday. A shift toward cooler and more variable conditions will bring rain across much of the country. Temperatures are expected to fall to around 18 degrees Celsius, accompanied by heavy and prolonged rainfall. Coastal areas may also experience high winds reaching speeds of up to 75 kilometers per hour.
