Netherlands weekend offers fashion pop‑ups, markets and cultural festivals

Amsterdam hosts the Billie Swim pop‑up on the Prinsengracht, showcasing new swimwear for the summer. In Groningen, the Zeldzaam Mooi Markt returns to the Vismarkt, featuring handmade goods, vintage finds and live music. South‑Limburg’s Château St. Gerlach presents a seasonal wine lunch with a four‑course menu curated by chef Guido Le Bron. The Rijksmuseum runs the “Up Close” exhibition of street photographer Ed van der Elsken, highlighting post‑war Dutch life.

Other Dutch regions add to the weekend programme: the second edition of the Slochter Vrijstaat Festival at De Woudbloem in Groningen offers canoe tours, theatrical performances and live music. Delfzijl’s MuzeeAquarium opens a maritime exhibition of paintings, historic maps and ocean finds. Blauwestad hosts the Kom over de Brug open‑air festival with artist workshops and concerts. Warffum’s long‑running international dance and music festival concludes the month with performances and a street parade. These events provide a mix of fashion, food, art and entertainment across several Dutch provinces.
