Netto recalls Snackmaster Rösti-Fries due to plastic contamination

Manufacturer Schne-frost Ernst Schnetkamp GmbH & Co. KG has issued a recall for Snackmaster Rösti-Fries (450g) sold at Netto Marken-Discount locations. The recall is due to the potential presence of plastic fragments within the product.

The affected items have the EAN 4006934778578, lot number L 6239, and a best-before date of 02/2028. The product was distributed in several German states, including Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Hesse, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, and Saarland.

Consuming the sharp plastic pieces poses risks of injury to the mouth, throat, or gastrointestinal tract, as well as a choking hazard. Customers are advised not to consume the product and can return it to a Netto store for a full refund, even without a receipt.
