Neuquén hosts successful pet adoption event at Parque Norte

During the anniversary month of Neuquén, a responsible adoption event held at Parque Norte resulted in 44 successful adoptions. The event, organized by the local municipality, saw 42 dogs and two cats find new homes.

Luciana De Giovanetti, the secretary of Human Rights, Institutional Relations, and International Cooperation, described the day as “super successful.” She specifically noted the adoption of three adult dogs as a significant achievement for the initiative.

In addition to the adoptions, the municipal Animal Welfare subsecretariat provided free health services for attending pets, including rabies vaccinations and antiparasitic treatments. The event also featured a market with regional products focused on pet care and nutrition.
