Neuquén International Book Fair Announces Open Call for Participants
The 13th edition of the Neuquén International Book Fair, named for Marcelo Martín Berbel, will run from 11 to 20 September at the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes and surrounding areas in the Patagonia capital. Organisers have opened a digital registration platform until 31 July, receiving more than 100 applications in a single day, including over 40 independent authors and about 20 cultural project proposals. The fair will host a wide range of formats—from printed books to digital manuscripts and educational games—aiming to showcase both local talent and international publishers.
Schools can request guided visits starting in August, continuing a tradition that has attracted thousands of students and promoted reading among young people. The event is positioned as a key cultural gathering for the region, strengthening the literary community and offering workshops, author‑reader dialogues, and a diverse program for the public.
