Neuquén unveils 2026 winter ski season with new tourism discounts
The government of Neuquén province presented its 2026 winter tourism program in Buenos Ayres, led by Governor Rolando Figueroa, Tourism Minister Leticia Esteves and Neuquentur president Gustavo Fernández Capiet. The launch highlighted the province’s claim to the largest skiable surface in Argentina – over 2,510 hectares – with four ski resorts, two snow parks, 99 runs, 45 lifts and a capacity of more than 31,000 skiers per hour. Destinations such as Caviahue, Cerro Bayo, Chapelco and Lago Hermoso were promoted, along with the Route of the Seven Lakes circuit.
A refreshed "Todo esto es Neuquén" campaign was announced, offering a 15 % discount under the slogan “Si sos Martínez o sos de Neuquén”. The promotion targets the Buenos Ayres market, the province’s main source of visitors, and includes discounts on accommodation, gastronomy and activities. Local officials from San Martín de los Andes, including Mayor Carlos Saloniti and Tourism Secretary Alejandro Apaolaza, participated, emphasizing the expected boost to employment and regional economies.
