Nevşehir Gastronomy Festival begins in Turkey

The Nevşehir Gastronomy Festival has officially commenced in Nevşehir, Turkey, organized through a collaboration between the Nevşehir Municipality and the Turkish Gastronomy Federation (TÜGAFED). The event began with a parade and an opening ceremony attended by local officials, including Mayor Rasim Arı and TÜGAFED President Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Seçim.

The festival aims to showcase the diverse culinary heritage of Nevşehir and promote the region as a cultural and tourism destination beyond its famous natural landmarks. The program includes participation from 30 international chefs and features food competitions, workshops, lectures, and academic meetings.

The opening festivities featured a concert by Turkish pop artist Simge Sağın at the Cappa Arena Event Area, drawing thousands of attendees. The festival is scheduled to continue for several days, highlighting local flavors and regional dishes from across Turkey.
