New 30 de Marzo Health Center Advances in Valparaíso, Chile
Residents of the 30 de Marzo sector in Valparaíso attended a meeting where officials presented the design and progress of a new primary health care centre. The project will replace the 1978‑built CESFAM on Broeckman street, which currently serves more than 13,000 users, with a modern 2,700‑square‑metre facility on municipal land on Nápoles street. The new centre is planned to accommodate around 20,000 patients and will include clinical rooms, rehabilitation areas, dental care, a vaccination site, a pharmacy and multipurpose spaces. The presentation was organized by the Local Health Development Council and included representatives of the Valparaíso‑San Antonio Health Service, municipal authorities and community organisations, allowing attendees to ask questions directly to the technical team.
