New horror film releases arrive in cinemas and on VOD

Several new horror films are arriving in cinemas and on VOD platforms this August. Leading the box office is David Robert Mitchell’s ‘The End of Oak Street’, a spectacle involving prehistoric predators in a suburban setting.

Upcoming theatrical releases include ‘Insidious: Out of the Further’, directed by Jacob Chase, and ‘Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma’, directed by Jane Schoenbrun. On digital platforms, ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s 2’ is scheduled for release on Sky/Now.

Other recent and upcoming digital releases include ‘Feed’ featuring Irish folklore, the Shudder exclusive ‘Hellcat’, and the VOD titles ‘The Boy From Below’ and ‘Harbinger’. Recent highlights include Eli Roth’s ‘Ice Cream Man’ and ‘The Last House’ on Netflix.
