New Jersey Devils face roster shifts and injury setbacks

The New Jersey Devils are navigating roster adjustments and injury setbacks during training camp. Center Nick Bjugstad is expected to miss four to six months due to a torn pectoral muscle, a development that may impact the team's forward depth and roster management under general manager Sunny Mehta and head coach Sheldon Keefe.

With a surplus of NHL-level forwards, the team faces difficult decisions regarding player placement. Stefan Noesen is facing potential waivers as the organization looks to increase speed and integrate newer talent, such as Amadeus Lombardi.

Regarding media coverage, the Devils' regional broadcasts will continue on MSG Networks, while standalone MSG+ subscriptions have transitioned from The Gotham Sports App to DAZN. National games will be aired on ABC, ESPN, and TNT.
