New Jersey man charged in online child exploitation case

Gilmer Briones-Guevara, a 33-year-old man from Riverside, New Jersey, has been arrested and charged following an investigation into online child sexual exploitation. Authorities allege that Briones-Guevara engaged in sexual conversations with at least 50 underage girls.

According to Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw, the suspect frequently sent explicit photos and videos to victims and requested similar content in return. Investigators noted that ten victims sent him self-produced child sexual abuse material.

Briones-Guevara faces multiple charges, including ten first-degree counts of endangering the welfare of a child, enticing a child, luring, and obscenity to a minor. He has pleaded not guilty to the first-degree counts. Additionally, a search of his residence led to the seizure of a handgun and cocaine, resulting in further charges related to possession of a controlled dangerous substance and firearms offenses.
