New Jersey man pleads guilty to child sex abuse and exploitation
William I. McCray, a 26-year-old man from Monroe Township, New Jersey, has pleaded guilty to multiple charges including child sex abuse, exploitation, and endangering the welfare of a child. The investigation began in October after a victim came forward, leading authorities to discover additional victims through a search of McCray’s home.
During the investigation, police seized four cell phones and recovered approximately 260 images and 40 video files containing child sexual abuse material. This evidence helped identify several more victims. Under a plea deal, prosecutors will recommend an 18-year prison sentence when McCray is sentenced in November. He will also be subject to lifetime parole supervision and required to register as a sex offender.
