Local residents of New Jersey shared their favorite waterfront locations along the Jersey Shore. Highlights include a bench on the boardwalk in Avon‑by‑the‑Sea, the Point Pleasant/Manasquan Inlet, and the iconic Cape May Boardwalk, all praised for their serene water views and relaxed atmosphere.

The city’s attractions include the nation’s first boardwalk built in 1870, the Steel Pier amusement park, the 171‑foot Absecon Lighthouse, Gardner’s Basin and the Atlantic City Aquarium, as well as neighborhoods such as Chelsea, Ducktown, Midtown and the Inlet area.
