New kindergartens open in Pribislavec and Vukovar

New preschool facilities have been inaugurated in Pribislavec and Vukovar, Croatia, to expand early childhood education capacities.

In Pribislavec, the Magnolija Kindergarten has officially opened, providing space for 108 children. The ceremony was attended by local municipal officials, county representatives, and the State Secretary in the Ministry of Science, Education and Youth. The new facility aims to provide a dedicated environment for the growth and learning of the municipality's youngest residents.

In Vukovar, a new facility for the Vukovar 1 Kindergarten has opened in the Olajnica settlement. The project, valued at 6.7 million euros, was funded by the Ministry of Science and Education, the Vukovar City Reconstruction and Development Fund, and the city budget. The facility covers 3,070 square meters of gross area and can accommodate 248 children across 14 educational groups. Mayor Marijan Pavliček noted that the increase in kindergarten enrollment reflects a growing trend of residents returning to the city.
