New Patriotic Party elects new Bantama constituency executives

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Bantama constituency of the Ashanti Region has elected new executives to lead the party for the next four years. The elections were held under the authorization of the party and supervised by the Electoral Commission following a previous election that was declared null and void due to irregularities.

In the chairmanship race, Kingsley Atta secured 570 votes (50.2 percent) to defeat the incumbent, Fiifi Mensah, who received 566 votes. Other key election results include:

• First Vice Chairman: Vincent Amoabeng (867 votes) • 2nd Vice Chairman: Frank Caleb Boateng (794 votes) • Youth Organiser: Nana Kwabena Boakye Danquah (840 votes) • Treasurer: Vivian Arthur (738 votes) • Communications Officer: Addai Kingsford (695 votes) • Deputy Secretary: Kwadwo Adu (688 votes) • Organiser: Eric Mensah (644 votes) • Women Organiser: Josephine Ama Pomaa (572 votes)

Following his victory, Kingsley Atta called for party unity with a focus on securing victories in the 2028 presidential and parliamentary elections. Bantama MP Francis Asenso-Boakye also urged members to work together to help the party recapture power.
