New Patriotic Party warns aspirants of disqualification over campaign ban

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has issued a warning to prospective parliamentary aspirants regarding a directive to suspend all campaign activities. Dennis Miracles Aboagye, the party’s Director of Communications, stated that failure to comply with this ban could result in disqualification from the upcoming parliamentary primaries.

Aboagye emphasized that aspirants must demonstrate discipline and respect for party regulations to prove they are fit for leadership. He noted that disregarding official directives raises questions about a candidate's willingness to abide by party rules. The suspension of campaigning is intended to prevent premature activity, ensure fairness among candidates, and maintain unity within the party ranks.
