New power solutions released for industrial and portable use

New power supply developments have been introduced for both industrial applications and portable consumer use.

Fortec Power is offering the NSP-2400 series from Mean Well, which consists of AC/DC switching power supplies designed for automation technology, industrial systems, and medical devices. These units deliver up to 2,400 W and can provide up to 200 percent of their rated power for up to five seconds to handle peak loads such as motor starts or capacitive loads. The units support parallel operation of up to four devices to reach a total output of 9,600 W.

In the consumer sector, the EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max power station provides 2,400 W of continuous power with a 2,048 Wh capacity. Designed for home backup, camping, and vehicles, it features an X-Boost mode capable of reaching 3,100 W. The device utilizes an LFP battery rated for 3,000 charge cycles and can be expanded to 6,144 Wh with additional batteries. It supports solar input up to 1,000 W and can reach an 80 percent charge in 43 minutes when using a combination of grid and solar power.
