Portable and industrial power supply developments
Overview
New power supply solutions have been introduced for both consumer and industrial applications.
In the consumer sector, EcoFlow has launched the DELTA Gen4 series in Japan, featuring the DELTA 3000 Gen4 and DELTA 3800 Gen4. These high-capacity portable power stations offer capacities exceeding 3,000Wh and are designed to be significantly more compact than previous models. Technical features include a “Refrigerator Runtime Boost” mode and a “Storm Guard” mode that adjusts charging based on weather forecasts.
Additionally, developments in industrial power include the Mean Well NSP-2400 series from Fortec Power. These AC/DC switching power supplies are intended for medical devices, industrial systems, and automation technology, capable of handling peak loads and supporting parallel operation to reach outputs of up to 9,600 W. Other consumer options include the EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max, which provides 2,400 W of continuous power for home backup and camping.
