New security Control and Command Centers inaugurated in Hidalgo and Tlaxcala
New Control and Command Centers (C2) have been inaugurated in Tula de Allende, Hidalgo, and Terrenate, Tlaxcala, to strengthen local public security and emergency response through advanced technology.
In Tula de Allende, the new C2 integrates artificial intelligence and data processing to monitor the municipality. The system includes a network of 355 surveillance cameras across 71 strategic points, supplemented by over 300 devices linked to the C5i and five highway arches, totaling more than 650 surveillance units. Additionally, 22 alert towers equipped with panic buttons have been installed to provide direct communication for emergencies, specifically targeting risks to women, children, and adolescents.
In Terrenate, Governor Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros inaugurated a C2 facility that connects to the state's C5i network. This center features 10 intelligent monitoring points, including cameras and radio communication systems designed to improve coordination between security forces and enhance response times to criminal activities.
