New shopping parks slated to open in Kalisz and Łowicz, Poland

Construction is underway on a new shopping park in Kalisz on the site of a former Tesco hypermarket. The project, led by Europrojekt Alfa Saller Polbau, plans for about 20 stores and additional service, food and coffee outlets, with confirmed tenants such as HalfPrice, New Yorker, Sinsay, CCC, dm, RTV Euro AGD, Martes Sport and SMYK. Opening is projected for the fourth quarter of 2026.

A separate retail park near Łowicz, built by Arka Bud, will cover nearly 6,500 sqm and house roughly 11 shops. It is set to open on 24 June 2026. Confirmed retailers include Bricomarché, Rossmann, Sinsay, Action, Gram Market and Forpepe House, with two retail spaces still available. The development also provides a large parking area and related infrastructure.

Both projects aim to broaden local shopping options and repurpose previously unused land, reflecting a broader trend of transforming former large‑format stores into modern retail parks in Poland.
