New swimming complexes open in Pregrada and Vinkovci
New recreational swimming facilities have opened in Pregrada and Vinkovci, Croatia.
In Pregrada, a biological swimming pool project valued at over 4.3 million euros has begun temporary public access. The facility distinguishes itself by using a natural purification system involving microorganisms and aquatic plants instead of chlorine. The project was largely funded through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
In Vinkovci, a larger complex worth over 7 million euros has been completed in Lenije Park. This development includes the energy renovation of the existing indoor Lenije swimming pool alongside the construction of new outdoor pools and various sports and recreational amenities. The project aims to create a comprehensive sports and tourism hub for the city.
