New udon specialty restaurants open in Moriguchi and Fukuoka

New dining establishments have opened in Osaka and Fukuoka, specializing in udon noodles.

In Moriguchi, Osaka, Oudon Cafe Yokikana opened near Taishibashi-imaichi Station. The cafe offers various udon dishes featuring a signature broth made from Hokkaido kombu and mixed flakes. The menu includes set meals with rice and small side dishes, as well as a selection of coffee and juices. A unique feature of the shop is that all udon dishes are served with octopus-shaped sausages.

In Fukuoka City, Hibi no Udon San3 opened near Yakuin Station. Managed by Yuta Uchidani, the shop specializes in Sanuki udon made fresh daily on-site. The menu features the ‘San3 Manbukkake’ topped with shrimp, soft-boiled egg, chikuwa, chicken, and perilla leaf tempura. The establishment also serves small plates and alcohol, allowing for both lunch and daytime drinking.
