Law enforcement agencies respond to multiple fatal incidents across the United States

Authorities in New York have apprehended 32-year-old Thomas David Ryan following a multi-day manhunt. Ryan is accused of killing his 70-year-old father, Robert Ryan, and intentionally setting fire to the family home in Greenville, Orange County. The suspect was located in the Gilboa area of Schoharie County after his father's vehicle was found abandoned. Ryan was described as “armed and dangerous” during the search and was treated at a hospital following his arrest.

In a separate incident in New York Harbor, Manuel Hernandez, 46, has been charged with misconduct and neglect of a ship officer resulting in death. Federal prosecutors allege Hernandez was operating an unlicensed and overcrowded tour boat when it capsized, leading to the deaths of a 27-year-old woman and a 5-month-old infant. Hernandez allegedly ignored safety protocols and lacked the required maritime credentials.

Meanwhile, an international manhunt is underway for 27-year-old Matthew Flores in Arizona. Investigators discovered the decomposed bodies of his parents buried in the backyard of their Litchfield Park home. Police found evidence of a struggle and attempts to clean blood inside the residence. The FBI and U.S. Marshals are assisting in the search for Flores, who is believed to have fled the country.
