New York Giants resume training camp amid facility construction

The New York Giants have returned to their East Rutherford headquarters to resume training camp following an initial period in West Virginia. The team is currently navigating significant facility renovations, including upgrades to locker rooms, weight rooms, and sports medicine areas, which are expected to be completed by 2028. Head coach John Harbaugh noted that while the makeshift conditions are an adjustment, the players have remained focused and resilient.

On the field, the team completed a nearly 2.5-hour full-pads session. However, the injury list is growing. Reported injuries include receiver Juju Smith-Schuster (knee), center John Michael Schmitz (head), center Lucas Patrick (knee), slot cornerback Dru Phillips (knee), and cornerback Greg Newsome II (knee). Inside linebacker Abdul Carter is also dealing with a hand/finger issue, though Harbaugh indicated it may not be serious and could see him return to practice soon.
