During a preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings, Dart underwent a concussion evaluation in the first quarter after a heavy sack by safety Jay Ward. Dart expressed being “puzzled” by the frequency of such evaluations, while Harbaugh suggested Dart’s “history” of similar incidents may have influenced the decision to prioritize safety. Following a 13-10 loss, Harbaugh emphasized that the team “need to block better.” The Giants are scheduled to begin their regular season on September 13 against the Dallas Cowboys.
