New York Giants waive running back Dante Miller

The New York Giants have waived running back Dante Miller with an injury designation following a groin injury sustained during a 13-10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Miller, known by the nickname ‘Turbo’, had spent much of his time with the organization on the practice squad after joining the team following a period of eligibility uncertainty.

The roster move was part of a series of transactions by the Giants, which included signing quarterback Jake Haener and linebacker Chandler Martin. The decision to waive Miller followed the retirement of cornerback Sam Webb, which created a vacancy on the roster.

In related news, the Giants hosted former Pro Bowl running back Najee Harris for a workout as the team evaluates its depth at the position. The current running back rotation includes Cam Skattebo, Tyrone Tracy Jr., and Devin Singletary.
