Italy launches various youth employment and civic engagement initiatives

Various Italian municipalities and organizations are launching initiatives aimed at supporting youth development, civic engagement, and professional integration.

In Torre del Greco, a Job Day organized by the local administration in collaboration with Gi Group will take place on October 15. The event aims to connect young job seekers with employers through professional orientation and direct interviews. Similarly, Gorizia is hosting the “Pillole di Let’s Go Job” program, offering 14 sessions for those under 35 covering topics such as workplace safety and CV preparation.

Community and social engagement projects are also expanding. Mazara del Vallo is introducing new listening spaces and urban dialogue sessions at the Civic Center to reduce the distance between youth and local institutions. In Trento, the “Contentissimo” space has opened in the Solženicyn garden to provide a hub for students aged 16 to 30 to engage in music, art, and social activities. In Badia Tedalda, the Moon cultural center has been inaugurated as part of a PNRR-funded regeneration project.

Educational and industrial connections are being strengthened through events like the PMI Day in Molise, which connects students with local small and medium enterprises, and the Career Day at the University of Padova, designed to facilitate employment in the agricultural and veterinary sectors.
