Nextapple conducts online polls for major Taiwan mayoral races

Nextapple News has launched a series of online public opinion polls regarding the upcoming mayoral elections in several major Taiwanese cities. The surveys seek to identify preferred candidates for the mayoral positions in Taoyuan, Kaohsiung, Tainan, New Taipei, and Taichung.

The voting period is scheduled from October 26 to October 30, 2026. These polls utilize convenience sampling of internet users across Taiwan's 22 counties and cities. The organization notes that the results reflect the choices of participants only and do not constitute traditional probability-based opinion polls.
