Following this, a polling period from October 5 to October 9, 2026, focused on Tainan and Taoyuan. A new series of polls was launched from October 19 to October 23, 2026, to determine voter support in New Taipei City and Tainan City. Most recently, from October 26 to October 30, 2026, Nextapple News has launched expanded online polls to identify preferred candidates for mayoral positions in Taoyuan, Kaohsiung, Tainan, New Taipei, and Taichung.
