Neymar Jr. launches ‘Ney Ney’ AI-powered animated series

A new animated series titled ‘Ney Ney’, inspired by the life and image of footballer Neymar Jr., has been launched. Developed by Fly Media in partnership with NR Sports, the project utilizes artificial intelligence to assist in the production of its 2D animation.

Three new episodes were presented during a special premiere at Cine Roxy in Santos, attended by approximately 240 guests, including friends and family of the athlete. The series aims to transform the player's global popularity into a digital entertainment property. While AI is used to optimize production and accelerate various stages of the creative process, the production team emphasizes that the technology serves as a tool to allow creators to focus on storytelling.

The first episode is currently available on the official ‘Ney Ney’ YouTube channel, with subsequent episodes scheduled for weekly release. The production is described by its creators as the first 2D animated series based on a global athlete's personal brand to be produced using artificial intelligence.
