Neymar supports Santos FC with debt payment and accepts media challenge

Neymar has provided significant financial and social support to his former club, Santos FC. Through his family-controlled company, NR Sports, the Brazilian star provided approximately two million euros to help the club settle a debt with AS Monaco. This payment allowed Santos to resolve a FIFA-imposed transfer ban that had been in place since early July regarding the transfer of midfielder Jean Lucas.

In exchange for the financial assistance, Santos will negotiate the transfer of certain unsold advertising spaces on the team's kits to NR Sports.

Separately, Neymar has accepted a social media challenge from 69-year-old journalist Fabio Sormani. After Sormani criticized the performance of the Santos squad and challenged the player to a 1-on-1 duel in a restricted space, Neymar responded on Instagram, accepting the challenge and offering to host the journalist at the club's training center.
