Neymar involvement with Santos FC and stadium incident

Overview

Neymar has engaged in various activities involving his former club, Santos FC. Through his company, NR Sports, he provided approximately two million euros to help the club settle a debt with AS Monaco, which resolved a FIFA-imposed transfer ban. In return, Santos will negotiate the transfer of certain unsold advertising spaces on team kits to NR Sports.

Regarding legal repercussions, the Civil Police and the Specialized Police Station for the Repression and Analysis of Sports Intolerance Crimes (DRADE) identified six individuals involved in the disturbance using stadium security footage and journalist recordings. These fans face potential match bans of up to three years under the General Sports Law and have had their membership accounts suspended. Additionally, Corinthians has implemented a preventive ban on these individuals. The Superior Tribunal de Justiça Desportiva (STJD) fined Corinthians a total of R$ 20,500, including R$ 10,000 specifically for the disorder caused by the hostility toward the child.
