Nguyen Hue Walking Street hosts patriotic art event

The ‘Fandom yeu nuoc’ (Patriotic Fandom) event took place at Nguyen Hue Walking Street in Ho Chi Minh City on August 22, as part of the ‘To Quoc trong tim’ (Fatherland in the Heart) political art series. The activities aim to commemorate the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and Vietnam's National Day.

Organized by the steering committee and Nhan Dan Newspaper, the event utilized the ‘fandom’ concept to make national pride more accessible to younger generations. The program featured interactions between military and police officers, artists, and the public. Notable participants included singer Tung Duong, who performed ‘Viet tiep cau chuyen hoa binh’, MC Nguyen Khang, and flute artist Le Nam. Le Quoc Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper and head of the program's steering committee, expressed hope that the spirit of the program would continue to spread to audiences in the south.
