NHRA U.S. Nationals to feature massive nitro field at Indianapolis

The 72nd annual Cornwell Quality Tools NHRA U.S. Nationals is set to take place at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, featuring one of the largest nitro fields since 2012. The event includes 45 Top Fuel and Funny Car entries, representing a significant collection of high-horsepower machines.

Top Fuel competition will feature 22 dragsters, including points leader Doug Kalitta, defending winner Justin Ashley, and 10-time Indy winner Tony Schumacher. The Funny Car class will host 23 entries, including Matt Hagan and Austin Prock. Beyond the nitro classes, the event includes Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle categories, with nearly $400,000 in prize money at stake as regular season championships are decided.
