NIBIRU resort in Costinești welcomes 547,000 visitors in first ten days

Romania’s new entertainment resort NIBIRU, located on the Costinești seaside, recorded 547,000 guests during its first ten days of operation. The venue hosted a birthday celebration for Romanian pop star Smiley on Center Stage, where he was surprised with a cake by Pavel Bartoș and Selly.

The opening weekend featured the NEBULA X electronic‑music festival (July 23‑26), presenting international DJs such as Black Coffee, Charlotte de Witte, Patrick Mason, Marco Carola and The Martinez Brothers. Organisers have announced further attractions, including a Picnic NIBIRU event, the Artist Awards ceremony and a K‑POP Days segment.

NIBIRU is promoted as a large open‑air club and summer entertainment hub, aiming to position Romania alongside Ibiza and Mykonos for seasonal music tourism.
