NIBIRU resort expands with Beach Please festival

Entities: NIBIRU resort · NIBIRU · Smiley · Family Fest · K-POP DAYS NIBIRU

Overview

The NIBIRU entertainment complex on Romania’s Black Sea coast has kept its rapid growth trajectory. After drawing more than 700,000 visitors in its first two weeks and staging the K‑POP DAYS festival in early August, the venue entered a new phase in July 2026 with the fifth edition of the Beach Please! urban‑music festival.

The five‑day event ran from 8 to 12 July, featuring international acts such as Playboi Carti, Future, Yeat, Don Toliver, Quavo and Tyla across three stages. Organisers projected 150,000 attendees and reported a record 155,000 spectators on a single day, the highest turnout for a European music event. About 30,000 foreign tourists arrived from Bulgaria, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Hungary and other countries. The festival is expected to generate roughly €400 million for Constanța County, create around 2,500 jobs and help the 210 000 m² private complex attract over 2 million visitors this summer.

The Beach Please! festival also marked the official launch of the NIBIRU seaside resort, slated to open on 16 July. The €50 million, 46‑day entertainment hub will combine concerts, an outdoor amusement park, restaurants, sports facilities and a fashion district.

In August 2026 the K‑POP DAYS NIBIRU festival returned, drawing more than 65,000 fans in its first two days and aiming to exceed the 115,000‑attendee benchmark set the previous year, reinforcing the resort’s role as a major venue for large‑scale international music events.
