Nicaragua advances healthcare through eye surgeries and new hospital projects

Nicaraguan medical specialists are conducting an ophthalmology brigade at the Hospital Escuela Dr. Oscar Danilo Rosales Argüello from September 10 to 12. The initiative aims to perform 150 cataract surgeries and pterygium removals for patients from the León and Chinandega municipalities.

Additionally, officials from the Exim Bank of India, including Sub-Manager General Shailendra Gupta and Principal Manager Rajeev Kumar, visited Nicaragua to follow up on two major infrastructure projects. These projects include the construction of the Aldo Chavarría Rehabilitation Hospital and a High Technology Center at the Hospital Escuela Dr. Antonio Lenin Fonseca.
