Nicaragua Diseña concludes 15th edition of fashion event

The 15th edition of Nicaragua Diseña has concluded, featuring a diverse showcase of national and international fashion talent. The event hosted 83 runway shows, involving 60 local designers and 23 international designers from countries including Russia, China, Panama, Mexico, Italy, Thailand, and Spain, among others.

In addition to fashion, the event included live music, gastronomy, photography exhibitions, and an expo-fair. The 2026 edition also featured over 140 Nicaraguan models and four international models.

Key award winners included Cristina Marota for Emerging Designer, Jackson Bello for Creative Suit Designer, and David Muñoz Olivas of Accesorios Yoli for Expo-fair Entrepreneurship. The event celebrated various milestones, including recognition for designers with long-standing careers and contributions to cultural internationalization.
