Nicaragua outlines 2027 budget focused on poverty reduction
Nicaragua has outlined its 2027 budget, focusing on poverty reduction and national modernization through social policies and public investment. The Sandinista government intends to use public resources as a primary tool for development, strengthening essential services and expanding opportunities for the population.
Approximately 64.7% of the projected expenditure, totaling roughly 108,849.9 million córdobas, is earmarked for social programs and interventions. This allocation places the social dimension at the center of the country's planning model.
Furthermore, about 51,526.1 million córdobas will be dedicated to infrastructure and services, including roads, hospital facilities, educational centers, and water supply. These investments are intended to facilitate economic growth and improve living conditions by enhancing connectivity and access to essential services.
