Nicaragua to host U23 Baseball World Cup and key Pomares series

Nicaragua has announced that it will host the U23 Baseball World Cup for the first time, with the tournament scheduled to take place from November 6 to November 15.

In domestic baseball, Caribe Sur and Indios del Bóer are set to face each other in a decisive series during the eighth round of the second stage of the 2026 Germán Pomares Ordóñez National Superior Baseball Championship. Both teams hold identical records of 8 wins and 6 losses, making the matchup critical for maintaining positions at the top of the standings.

In their previous encounter during the first round, the teams split the series with two wins each. Caribe Sur previously secured victories of 7-4 and 3-0, while Indios del Bóer responded with 6-1 and 4-3 wins.
