Nice will host the fifth edition of ‘Automne de l’Image’ from September 19 to November 29, 2026. Co-produced by the association La Bande Passante and the City of Nice, the event brings together approximately 14 festivals and cultural activities focused on photography, cinema, and video.

The season begins on September 19 at the 109 contemporary culture center during European Heritage Days. The opening program includes the ‘L’Image Satellite’ photography exhibition, the CARTA BOOK FAIR, and various film screenings and art openings. Featured events include the European short film festival ‘Un Festival C’est Trop Court !’, the ‘Mostra Documentaire’ focusing on Brazilian creation, and ‘Rencontres Super 8’.

Additionally, local cultural programming in Nice for early September 2026 includes an exhibition by artist Élodie Avati at Galerie Lou Babazouk and the ‘Les Festins des territoires’ music series, which features local talent and Niçois culinary specialties across various neighborhoods.
