Cultural programming in French cities

Various cities in France have announced cultural programming for the autumn and winter of 2026.

In Nice, the fifth edition of the ‘Automne de l’Image’ visual arts festival is scheduled from September 19 to November 29. Co-produced by the City of Nice and the association La Bande Passante, the season includes approximately 14 festivals and activities centered on photography, cinema, and video. Notable events include the ‘L’Image Satellite’ photography exhibition, the CARTA BOOK FAIR, and the European short film festival ‘Un Festival C’est Trop Court !’.

In Lunel, the ‘L'Archipel Culturel’ autumn-winter season features the European Heritage Days and Pescalunades in mid-September, followed by the 31st International Guitar Festival in late September. The program also includes the Lunel Flamenco Festival in November and an exhibition at Musée Médard titled ‘Sortilèges et magiciens, de Circé à Harry Potter’, which runs from October through March.
