Nicki Minaj sued over $106K hotel bill; court filings reveal alias “Tori Spaulding”

Production company 24/7 Productions has filed a lawsuit alleging that rapper Nicki Minaj failed to reimburse more than $106,000 in luxury hotel expenses incurred during performances in New York and Fort Lauderdale. Court documents list a seven‑night stay at New York’s Langley Hotel at $9,500 per night under the alias “Tori Spaulding,” with additional rooms for staff recorded as “Routed From Spaulding Tori.” The filing also cites a Four Seasons suite in Fort Lauderdale costing $3,800 per night, totaling about $25,200, plus other crew accommodations.

The complaint seeks repayment for travel, lighting, sound, security and hotel costs that 24/7 Productions says it fronted for the artist. Minaj’s attorneys state she never signed any contract with the company and has not responded publicly to the allegations.

The lawsuit highlights the financial arrangements behind high‑profile concerts and the use of privacy aliases by celebrities when booking accommodations.
