Nicki Minaj lawsuits over unpaid fees and expenses
Entities: Langley Hotel · 24/7 Productions · Nicki Minaj · Michael John Davies Pryer · Four Seasons Hotel Fort Lauderdale
Overview
Rapper Nicki Minaj continues to face multiple civil actions in the United States over unpaid fees and alleged debts.
In mid‑July 2026, Los Angeles‑based law firm Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani filed a collection suit for about $230,000 in legal fees from a 2023 copyright case, seeking a default judgment with a hearing set for September.
Around the same time, New York‑based 24/7 Productions sued Minaj for more than $275,000 tied to expenses from her 2023 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball performances and the rollout of “Pink Friday 2,” arguing the claim should target her limited‑liability company, Pink Friday Productions, LLC.
On July 28 2026, the same production company lodged an additional complaint alleging that Minaj failed to reimburse roughly $106,000 in luxury hotel costs incurred during a seven‑night New York stay at the Langley Hotel and a Four Seasons suite in Fort Lauderdale, using the alias “Tori Spaulding” for the bookings.
Minaj’s attorneys have said she never signed a contract with 24/7 Productions and have not publicly responded to any of the filings. No rulings have been issued in any of the cases, and the lawsuits collectively illustrate mounting financial and legal pressure on the artist.
